The S.M.I.L.E Veterans and Seniors MMJ Patients is an organization that focuses on addressing a significant problem within the 60 plus demographic group. They advocate against opioid addiction among veterans and disabled seniors while promoting the use of cannabis as an alternative medicine treatment. The organization recognizes the need for a community-based approach to reduce the stigma associated with cannabis use for pain relief or treatment. The primary goals of the organization include:
1. Awareness and Education: The organization aims to raise awareness about the potential benefits of cannabis as a treatment option for pain relief and other medical conditions. They provide education and information to veterans, seniors, and the community at large regarding the use of cannabis as an alternative to opioids.
2. Funding: The organization is actively working on securing funding to support their community-based approach. This funding will be utilized to develop programs, initiatives, and resources that promote the safe and responsible use of cannabis for pain relief or treatment among veterans and seniors.
3. Community Engagement: S.M.I.L.E Veterans and Seniors MMJ Patients aims to engage the community by organizing events, workshops, and support groups. These activities create a platform for individuals to share their experiences, discuss treatment options, and reduce the stigma associated with cannabis use.
4. Advocacy: The organization advocates for policy changes and greater access to medical cannabis for veterans and disabled seniors. They work towards creating an environment where cannabis is recognized as a viable treatment option and where individuals have access to safe and regulated cannabis products.
By focusing on these goals, the S.M.I.L.E Veterans and Seniors MMJ Patients organization seeks to empower Veterans and Seniors to explore cannabis as a potential solution for pain management and other medical conditions. They strive to enhance the quality of life for these individuals while reducing the reliance on opioid medications and addressing the associated risks of addiction. Cannabis Denied Patients
